The Chef
Meet Brittany Love, owner and Chief Baking Artist of Free Birds Vegan Kitchen, formerly known as Free Birds Vegan Bakery. It is an online boutique bakery catering to vegan palettes nationally. As an alumnus of Georgia State University, Brittany never dreamed she would become a gifted chef and own a business. She began her “adulting” career as an airbrush tattoo artist making ends meet, and as a matter of truth, she did not learn to cook or bake in the beginning, but she knew she LOVED food!
She graduated from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts and worked for multiple businesses in the culinary industry before taking the leap of faith in 2015 to begin her own business. After transitioning to a completely plant-based diet, in 2016 she restructured her business to an all-vegan bakery to reflect her personal chosen lifestyle.  In 2017, she further crafted her niche market by offering gluten and soy-free products.
Brittany brands herself as the chef who can “veganize” any traditional recipe and make a delicious plant-based replica.
Television & Accolades
With her down-to-earth, captivating personality, Chef Brittany landed the lead role as head chef for the first and second seasons of “Kids Can Cook”, a live interactive cooking show with selected children on AIB TV, a local station in Atlanta, GA. Her bubbly personality has also garnered her local and national media coverage for her talents.
Chef Brittany has experienced the pleasure of preparing food for plant-based celebrity eaters such as singer India Arie, rapper Waka Flocka, and the entrepreneurial twin daughters of Steve Harvey. She has appeared on Adult Swim for her baking skills and been recognized multiple times for her food creations in Voyage ATL as well as Creative Loafing. Furthermore, she was crowned as the “People’s Choice” award winner at the 2017 Atlanta Vegan Mac Down competition for her incredible Vegan Mac and Cheez dish!
Philanthropist
Brittany believes her mission is to educate, heal and inspire people around the world to live a plant-based lifestyle. She understands how empowering it is to take control of your life choices and is an advocate for health, wellness, and entrepreneurship.
Chef Brittany has received a Certificate of Urban Agriculture from HABESHA, Inc. and recently traveled to Africa in March of 2018 to learn about her ancestral history and indigenous cooking methods. All of which skills she now applies to her own company and upcoming cookbook.
Author
Her most recent accomplishment is becoming a self-published author after the release of her first book, #WhatVegansEat. She carefully crafted this gem with the intention of assisting potential vegans with transitioning to a plant-based diet.
One of the hardest parts about her own transition was determining what to eat and trying to convert carnivorous meal cravings to plant-based. She strongly  believes that if you can read, then you can cook! She encourages her audience not to limit themselves just because they do not identify as a cook. After all, she is a self-taught baker and cake-artist herself.
Farmer, Speaker & Mompreneur
That’s not ALL. As a woman of many talents, Chef Brittany is also a certified farmer who has dedicated her time to teaching others how to grow their own food. She is a winner of several speaking competitions and intends to dedicate more time to the speaking circuit. Brittany has a very joyful spirit and loves to share her light with the beautiful beings she is able to reach on this planet.
But of all her successes and accolades, her greatest achievement is being a mother to her children, Braelyn and Yemaya, whom she enjoys spending quality time with. Overall, she is happy to have a platform by which she can share her authentic journey to a completely plant-based lifestyle and inspire others to make more educated and healthier life choices.
